In this tutorial, we will describe how our company has integrated X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy capabilities into a laboratory instrument. Traditionally a synchrotron-only technique, XANES & XAFS have become staples of modern materials science and are of particular interest for mapping oxidation/reduction reactions, such as those occurring in Li-ion batteries. Through Sigray's unique innovations, powerful & reliable XAS data can now be achieved in a laboratory package, with sub-eV chemical resolution and a user-friendly software interface.
