I am a structural and cellular biologist with >10 years of research experience in cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM), including single-particle cryoEM and cryo-electron tomography. My main research interests are the structural characterization of viruses, cells, and macromolecular complexes using three-dimensional electron microscopy. Also, I am invested in developing new cryoEM methods to improve our capacity to address a broad range of biological questions. As the Director of the CryoEM Facility, I am committed to providing researchers with the resources, training, and technical assistance required to do high-resolution cryoEM experiments.
