I am a computational scientist and Postdoctoral Research at the Ohio State University with expertise in developing custom image/data processing and analysis workflows for diverse microscopy and biological datasets. I am intimately fluent with MATLAB and I have experience using Python to implement fundamental machine-learning algorithms such as cluster analyses and neural networks. My Biomedical Engineering degrees and PhD research have afforded me a background steeped in biology, experimental design, engineering principles, and computational techniques. In previous roles, I have used my skills to develop novel computational tools which were used to unearth a novel protein synthesis pathway in heart muscle cells and elucidate structural mechanisms of diabetic arrhythmias.
