John (Jack) Lasseter is a Materials Science PhD student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Philip Rack’s group and was co-advised by Steven Randolph and Kinga Unocic at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His undergraduate was a double major in Computer Science and Chemistry at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Currently he is a technical assosciate staff member at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His work focuses on direct-write processes in electron microscopes, such as direct-write chemical vapor deposition, focused electron beam-induced etching of 2D materials, and laser powder bed fusion in a scanning electron microscope
