Yueyun Chen is a first-year Experimental Condensed Matter Physics Ph.D. student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is originally from Beijing, China. After graduated from high school, Yueyun went to East Los Angeles College and transferred to UCLA after two years. He worked with Professor Regan at UCLA on Plasmon Energy Expansion Thermometry (PEET) and noise analysis. After received his bachelor’s degree, Yueyun decided to stay in the group and pursue his Ph.D. degree at UCLA. He is now interested in microscopy techniques and EBSD analysis.
