R&D Associate Scientist
Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Oak Ridge, Tennessee, United States
Dr. Debangshu Mukherjee is an R&D Associate Scientist in the Multimodal Data Analytics Group at the Computational Sciences & Engineering Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), since June 2021, after his postdoc at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS), at ORNL. His current research focuses on interfacing high-performance GPGPU computing with electron microscopes. Before joining as a staff, during his postdoctoral research, he developed 4D-STEM techniques to map out strain across interfaces and created the STEMTool Python package for analyzing electron microscopy datasets. Before joining ORNL, Debangshu obtained his Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University, where his research focused on using aberration-corrected STEM to measure the structure of ferroelectric domain walls.
