Yu-Tsun Shao is an Assistant Professor in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Southern California. He also holds an appointment in the Core Center of Excellence in Nano Imaging at USC. Yu-Tsun was a postdoc at Cornell University after received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.S. in Physics from National Taiwan University. He is a recipient of the Robert P. Apkarian Postdoctoral Scholar Award (2021) and Presidential Student Award (2016) of the Microscopy Society of America, and the Ludo Frevel Crystallography Scholarship Award of the International Centre for Diffraction Data (2016).
