Tymofii Pieshkov is a graduate student from Applied Physics Program of Rice University. He is now associated with Material Science and NanoEngineering department en route to his PhD. He received B.S. with Honors in Applied Physics and Nanomaterials in 2020 from Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU), Ukraine. He is now working on growth and characterization of 2D materials such as TMDs, h-BN as well as c-BN and diamond based materials. He mainly uses various TEM-related techniques for characterization and image processing, while at the same time focusing on chemical vapor deposition techniques for growth of the samples
