Hasti Vahidi (Ph.D.student in MSE) has experience in the characterization of electroceramic materials by aberration-corrected STEM electron imaging, energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. She is an independent user of UCI’s JEOL Grand ARM 300CF and JEOL 2800 S/TEM microscopes, and dual-beam SEM-FIB (Tescan GAIA3). She also performs electrochemical materials testing and synthesis of solid ionic-conducting ceramics and sodium-doped oxides for all solid state batteries.
