Dr Yi-Sheng (Eason) Chen is a University of Sydney Fellow in the Australian Centre for Microscopy and Microanalysis and the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Sydney, Australia. Eason’s research interest is materials characterisation via advanced microscopy techniques (particularly cryo-APT) for the applications of hydrogen fuel, metallurgy, biology and nano-catalysis. He completed his PhD (2018) at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, after few years of industry services and his MS (2009) and BS (2007) both at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. His research has been funded by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, the University of Sydney, the Australian Research Council and several international industry partnerships, for a sum of over USD 4 millions supporting him as a lead investigator.
