Haoyang Ni is a PhD student at university of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, co-advised by Prof. Jian-min Zuo and Dr Miaofang Chi at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Haoyang's research interest is in applying electron microscopy and diffraction techniques to probe interplay between structural, electronic and magnetic behavior of materials. Haoyang's main research project at Oak Ridge is exploring structural and electronic interaction of quantum materials with low-temperature electronic phase transtions.
